YOU & ME

2013 Sauvignon Blanc / Sémillon, Sonoma County

production: 6 barrels made

$25per bottle

Helen’s wine is an unconventional, creative take on the classic blend of two grapes traditionally found in Bordeaux, France. Sourced from some of Helen’s favorite sites across Sonoma, ‘You & Me’ is a bright, lively white with focused acid that screams for a hot summer day. Lettering artist Erik Marinovich connected with the fresh aromatics and Helen’s unflappable optimism to create a label, “unlike any he’d seen before.” Scroll down to see even more details.

About the Wine
“The base note aromatics are fig, honey, and some green olive. On top is a floral and fruity prettiness without going tropical. And there’s also a high note of something fresh and green.”
Helen Keplinger, Winemaker

About the Design
“Wine in my family has never been looked at as fancy. I didn’t want to create a label that was austere. It’s bold, playful, a bit of the human hand. Something you’d want to go and hug.”
Erik Marinovich, Hand Letterer + Illustrator
